Prof. Goro Hashimoto arrived as Japanese immigrants in Brazil 66 years ago. The almost all immigrants who came to Brazil aimed at a material success. But he strove for an observation and a gathering of natural plants in order to research on natural science .He collected plants of 150,000 samples up to now and it is the largest scale by an individual. In these plants, because of environmental disruption, some of them have disappeared, are be in danger of getting lost today and they are valuable plants some of them with medical sort.
He is 88 years old, however dedicating his life to research of natural plants in South America.
